Cloud Foundation/Haiti
BackgroundThe Cloud Foundation, Inc., a Maryland 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, was founded by William Cloud in March 2016. (Website: Cloudfoundationhaiti.com) Mr. Cloud is a retired attorney and professor of International Relations. After publishing "Deconstructing the News – Don’t Believe the Hype" in 2014, he traveled to Haiti to complete research on a second book entitled: Haiti’s Misery is America’s Shame.
Mr. Cloud was so profoundly impressed by the Haitian peoples’ extraordinarily strong spirit, resilience, and a determination to overcome the country’s political instability, poverty and perpetually reoccurring natural disasters that have plagued the island nation, he put the book project on hold so he could devote his energies to helping the Haitian people. PEOPLE REVIEWS
Providing The Best"Mr. Cloud:
It is a great great great PLEASURE to have you serve my country with your foundation’s Klinik Mobil Medical. As Coordonnateur of Coordination Nationale De L’Assurance Maladie, the Haitian government’s health insurance agency for its employees, I understand the critical need for healthcare in my country. Your foundation’s mobile klinik is doing a wonderful job helping the sick and injured here. You can give me as a reference.

"Mr. Cloud:
On behalf of the Ginette Preval, Haiti’s First Lady, I congratulate the Cloud Foundation for the professional medical service your Kilnik Mobil Medical ambulance is delivering to our people, particularly in the rural areas that have little access to healthcare. Keep up the good work.

"Hey Professor Cloud!!
I pray you are doing well, and things are making progress in Haiti. Great News! I got accepted to the business school in London to complete my MBA. I am so excited and I wanted to share the news with you! I will travel one week a month to London until the program is complete (18 months).
I am one of a cohort of 40 international students. I am the only woman, one of three Americans and the only African-American.
The courses you taught in International Relations and International Business Management at Morris Brown College helped me achieve this goal. I would not have been able to achieve this without your guidance and friendship. Please keep me in your prayers! I look forward to making you proud. I will keep you posted about my progress...
Deepest regards,
Raquel Wells
